Some types of oral contraceptives are also used in this regard, as they are able to help with acne problems, and in particular a combination of the usual pill hormone called ethinylestradiol with cyproterone acetate works by suppressing male hormone activity, and so thus this method is often used more so for women who suffer from acne.
There are various other types of treatment for acne as well, besides acne pills, such as skin creams, topical creams, prescription medications, and so on, and there are always new and innovative forms of treatment coming out all the time.
